Press release : The Lucas Dolega Award 10th Edition 2021

Call for entries from February 1st until March 15th 2021

The Lucas Dolega Association, the Mairie de Paris, la Société des Auteurs des arts visuels et de l’Image Fixe – Saif and our partners, Reporters without borders, the UPP, the Atelier Label Image and Zanzibar have the pleasure to announce the launch of the tenth edition of the Lucas Dolega Award.
Due to the sanitary conditions around the world, we had to postpone the call for entry, which is now from February 1st until March 15th 2021.

This award is intended for freelance professional photographers. It aims to support and accompany them and their work, done in risky zones and under difficult conditions to ensure independent information.
The award is meant to reward a photographer who, through his or her personal commitment, involvement in the field, as well as the quality of his or her work, will have been able to testify to his or her attachment to the freedom of information.

The Lucas Dolega Award is open to all freelance professional photographers, without age or country restrictions. The participation is free.

Organized in partnership with the Mairie de Paris, la SAIF and with the support of Reporters without borders, the UPP, the Atelier Label Image, and Zanzibar, the Lucas Dolega Prize will reward a photographer with a endowment by la SAIF of 10.000 Euros. The winning report will be exhibited in Paris and will be published in the Reporters without borders album.
The award ceremony will take place at the Mairie de Paris, in the spring 2021, depending on the sanitary conditions.
